Unusually we have a concert on 27 April - the recital by Elizabeth Watts (soprano) and Simon Lepper (piano) postponed from last October. Winner of the 2007 Cardiff Singer of the World Rosenblatt Song prize and the 2006 Kathlenn Ferrier Prize, Elizabeth Watts is a BBC New Generation Artist and her busy career includes opera at ENO and Santa Fe and concert performances with major orchestras.

Simon Lepper studied at Cambridge and the RAM. He works with many leading singers and instrumentalists, has his own series Spring Voices at the Natioal Portrait Gallery and appears at the Verbier Festival.

Schubert "Fruhlinsreise" (12 songs connected with Spring, the flowers that bloom in it and a bird or two); Britten On This Island op.11; Charles Griffes Three Poems of Fiona MacLeod op.11; Britten Folk Song Arrangements.
