Hyperbow

Milton is project leader in the Royal Academy of Music Hyperbow project. The hyperbow is a new electro-acoustic instrument designed by the visionary Tod Machover. A launch and concert is scheduled for September 2007.

Rat Park

Rat Park is a futuristic fusion trio with cohorts Adam Betts (dr.) & John Calvert (bs.) The blend of traditional rock sensibilities with laptop looping power, timbral possibilities and real-time visuals has to be seen and heard to be believed. Music of the Body

Milton has created music derived from physical processes in the human body including the tracing of the coronal suture, blood cell production, bacterial growth & MRI imaging. A colloboration with Professor Vincent Walsh of UCL will lead to an exciting 'Music of the Mind' Art/Science installation. A full length CD is in production. Exhibitions at Oxford University, Guildford Cathedral, Lewis Elton Gallery and Royal College of Surgeons.

Improvisation

Milton's interests in all musical styles has lead to creative music research on the field of rhythmic time-feel, timbral modulation, audio/visual relationships and ensemble interaction in the field of improvisation. He is currently researching a PhD in Performance, Composition & Music Technology under the supervision of Steve Goss at the University of Surrey.

Eclectic Guitar Orchestra

Milton leads EGO, a band of top-notch guitarists from a diverse range of disciplines. Past concerts have included Gary Ryan, Bridget Upson & the legendary John Williams. All proceeds go to charity, so it feels as good as it sounds.
